Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Axi. They are deliberately short and plain. Using Axi means you accept them.
Who provides Axi
Axi is provided by AXEED L.L.C. (“we”), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at support@axdaxi.com.
Axi is in alpha
This matters more than the rest of this page, so it comes first. Axi is early software under active development. It may be unavailable, may lose data, may act on a message incorrectly, and may change or remove features without notice. Do not rely on Axi as the only record of anything, and do not rely on it to send something that must be sent. Your mail lives in your mail provider; Axi is a layer over it, not a replacement for it.
Your account
- Access is granted by approval. Creating an account does not entitle you to access, and we may decline, suspend or remove an account at our discretion.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
- One account is for one person. Do not share it.
What you are responsible for
- Your own data and accounts. You confirm you are entitled to connect the mailbox and calendar you connect, and to let Axi process what is in them.
- What Axi sends on your instruction. Axi drafts, but you decide. A message sent from your account is your message.
- Your AI provider keys. If you supply your own key, that provider's terms and charges are between you and them.
- Lawful use. Do not use Axi to break the law, to send unsolicited bulk mail, to harass anyone, or to attack the service or probe it for weaknesses.
AI output
Axi uses large language models, which get things wrong. Summaries can mislead, priorities can be misjudged, and drafts can be inaccurate or inappropriate. Everything Axi produces is a suggestion for you to check. It is not legal, financial, medical or professional advice.
Your data
How we handle your data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: we do not sell it, we do not use your Google data to train models, and you can delete your account and its data at any time.
Your content stays yours
You keep all rights to your mail, your calendar and anything you write. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — to store, process and transmit your content so Axi can do what you asked. The software, the name and the design of Axi remain ours.
Fees
Axi is currently provided at no charge during alpha. If we introduce fees we will say so before they apply to you, and you will be free to stop using Axi instead.
Ending it
You can stop using Axi and delete your account whenever you like — see the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if it is necessary to protect the service or other users, or if we discontinue Axi. Where we reasonably can, we will give you notice.
No warranty, and the limit of our liability
Axi is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost profits, lost business, or lost or corrupted data. For any claim arising from these terms or your use of Axi, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will update the date above and tell you in the app. Continuing to use Axi after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that either of us may seek urgent injunctive relief wherever necessary.
